Microsoft Windows 7 RC partners get it now? Or maybe not – 588th Edition

The Microsoft Partners website has now revealed that Microsoft is looking to provide its partners with the Windows 7 Release Candidate via MSDN and Technet. The Microsoft Partners web page reveals that the build is available now.
Although apparently Windows 7 is looking to become available to the mass public sometime around the 5th of May, although this could be subject to change so I would only pencil it into calendars now.
However an update has now said that the page was posted in error and was actually old Windows 7 beta info, so looks like we will be waiting longer than expected.
