Flip Video UltraHD and Sony Vegas?
On sony vegas 8 when I’m trying to edit my videos taken with my new Flip Ultrahd Camcorder, the videos are aren’t playing the right way, they are skipping and looking like just pictures playing. Why is this and can I fix it?
Sounds to me like the RAM and CPU in your computer can’t handle high defintion files. But since you did not tell us what computer you are using, that is just a SWAG.
High definiiton video editing is easiest when the computer exceeds the “minimum requiremements” stated by the various manufacturers. 4 gig RAM and a computer with a CPU made in the last year or so and a minimum of 250 gig external Hard Drive space for video projects only and more than 20% available space on the internal drive (with the booted operating system)… and nothing else running in the background (no malware, no browsers no iTunes, nothing…
